Congratulations! You found the secret page! For that you get a special treat :D (OK, so it wasn't THAT hard to find :)

Poppie's All-Time Favorite Dog Biscuits

1 Cup Plain Oatmeal, uncooked
1/3 Cup Margarine
1 or 2 Chicken or beef bouillon cubes
1 1/2 Cups Boiling water
3/4 Cup Powdered milk
3/4 Cup Cornmeal
1 Egg
3 Cups Whole wheat flour, or more

Mix hot water with margarine, bouillon cubes, and oatmeal. Let stand until bouillon cubes dissolve and margarine melts. Add milk, cornmeal and egg, and mix well. Add flour, about 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Knead about 3 or 4 minutes, adding more flour as needed to make a very stiff dough. Pat or roll to about 1/2 inch thickness on a floured surface. Dough should not be too sticky. Cut into bone shapes, and bake on lightly greased or oiled baking sheets 50 minutes at 325 degrees. Note that they will not spread, so they may be placed very close together on sheet.

Remove from sheet and allow to air dry until they are very hard and dry. IMPORTANT! Be sure they are very dry and hard before storing, especially in warmer weather, as they may mold otherwise.

You may add other meat juices (substitute for some of the water), bacon bits, wheat germ, 1/2 to 1 tsp each garlic and/or onion powder, etc, to enhance the flavor if your dog likes any of these. Add more flour if needed to maintain a stiff dough.

Makes about 1 3/4 pounds (about 75-80 1.5 inch bones, or fewer larger ones)

Note that these are treats only, and should not be given in large quantities due to the possible fat and sodium content. Poppie never experienced any problems with these biscuits, but as with everything in life, your mileage may vary.
